Nigeria-VisaWith an eye on making it easier for foreigners to do business in the country, Nigeria has eased its visa processes for persons who wish to visit Nigeria for business and tourism by removing some of the bureaucratic bottlenecks. Nigerians are also beneficiaries of the review. Henceforth, passport re-issuance has been decentralised and Nigerians no longer need to travel to Abuja to get this done.

The Sacred River In Ebonyi Where Fishes Hear And Obey Human Voices

Ebonyi fishThe sun was preparing to retire to the east for a well-deserved rest after scorching the earth tirelessly all day. A group of men in a convoy of four motorcycles arrived a stream, which locals prefer to call a river, in a remote part of a village. The road to the river is uneven. In fact, it is doubtful if the road had ever been graded not to talk of being asphalted.  The river is surrounded by mangrove with bamboos, standing as if on sentry duty while some children were playing inside the river, splashing water about merrily. Nigeria’s Aviation Authority threatens Operators over Fare Increase

ncaa logoNigeria’s Civil Aviation Authority has threatened to deal with airlines which arbitrarily increase their fares and other charges without recourse to the authority’s approval.
Sam Adurogboye, General Manger Public Affairs, NCAA, in a statement stated that all airlines in the country should file any proposed add-on charges, surcharges or other miscellaneous charges with the Regulatory Authority. Continue reading
